I ordered this product, listed as a mirror aviator "2-pack" with drawstring pouch. However, it was only a one-pack with the pouch and on the packing slip it said "aviator 2-pack or individual with drawstring pouch." But this is not how it is described in the ad. I'm not returning them, they're cheap sunglasses for an even cheaper price than at the store, but it would be nice to get what you think you're going to get when you pay your money.

I purchased this set for Thanksgivng Dinner. They are a nice weight and looked very pretty on the tables, also kid friendly!
The glasses are a great size, as pictured, arrived in perfect condition and are a great value at this price. I gave them 4 stars because I think the labels on the bottom of each glass were applied with super glue!! When I read about the labels I wasn’t too concerned because ‘goo gone’ has always made removing stubborn labels easy. It took several applications of goo gone, a razor knife and 45 min of scraping for me to remove the labels. What an unnecessary HASSLE!!
We bought these glasses to replace some glasses that lasted for more than 12 years. In less than three months seven of them have broken. They are very fragile. Several have broken in the dish washer, just from standard washing cycles. Others have broken by being bumped up against other glasses in the cupboard. It isn’t that we are rough on them, because we treat them the same we we treated our other glasses which lasted for years.
We purchased 24 of these glasses about 6 months ago and are now down to 5. They broke under normal use….in the dishwasher, in the kitchen sink (stainless steel) and a couple even broke while dispensing ice from the ice maker. These are the least durable glasses we have ever purchased. Oddly, we also have the 9 oz rocks size and haven’t broken any.
We purchased these glasses because we liked the simple design and the price. Either we got a bad batch or they are just very fragile but we only have 3 glasses left out of the 12. They break very easily. One even broke while we were cleaning the inside with a sponge. Not worth the money because you soon won’t have any left and you’ll just have to buy more.
Despite some of the bad ratings, I myself can’t bare to give a bad rating since the book is based on the authors life. Who am I to say their life story is a 1 out of 5 stars. So if I could I wouldn’t give it a rating at all, but since I must, I give it a 5.
Jeannette Walls writes about her hardships within the pages and although some parts may seem “far fetched” its not my place to call her a liar. She writes about her parents Rex (an alcoholic) and Rose Mary (starving artist) lacking to support her and her other siblings (Brian, Lori, and Maureen) and overcoming the hardship of truly being dirt poor. The book mostly focuses on how poor her family was and how difficult life got when they didn’t have a dime to feed themselves for days but what I found most fascinating were the parents, which I found to be mentally ill (especially the mother) I can’t help but to blame them for everything that went wrong due to their selfishness and lack of interest in doing everything they possibly can to support their children.
I would recommend this book to anyone that took interest in the book called “Angela’s ashes” and for anyone who liked this book but has not read “Angela’s ashes” to go and read it!
Our book club read The Glass Castle- what a story- well written and difficult to put down.
I simply loved this book. Each character was portrayed with such authenticity and respect. There’s a wonderful simplicity and truthfulness to the storytelling. This is a gem of a book. As I finished the book I was left with an admiration for the author and a deep sense of compassion for each of the characters.
This is a story of love and triumph despite the worst circumstances possible. What this family goes through, in their journey through life fraught with poverty and hunger¡¦ fear and alcoholism. In the beginning of the book, I am horrified when I read that, as a three year old, Jeannette is cooking hot dogs on the stove in her little pink dress and burns herself terribly. As a mother, I shout aloud to this book, ¡°WHAT?!?¡± In any event, that¡¯s just the beginning of the atrocities that these poor children endure due to their parents¡¯ choices.

This family lives a life on the road, running from the law, from poverty, and from a ¡°normal life.¡± Even when they get a fair chance at living a decent life, they hap-hazardously leave their home and belongings behind due to their father¡¯s insistence. The dynamic between Jeannette¡¯s mother and father is unlike anything I¡¯ve ever heard of. It makes me look at the fine line between genius and insanity. To look at the picture of Jeannette¡¯s parents in the front of the book, you would imagine a life of ¡°normalcy.¡± NOT AT ALL.
There are several lump-in-the-throat, hard-to-swallow events in Jeannette¡¯s story and it seems that the story just keeps getting worse and worse. But, it isn¡¯t the string of events that makes this a beautiful story, it¡¯s the way in which the children faced them and dealt with them (well, her sister is an exception towards the end). By the end of the book, I hated the parents for making the choices they did and hurting their children to that degree. Despite everything the children endured, they each found a way out of their poor living conditions in West Virginia and made it to New York¡¦ one at a time. I just kept hoping that they would be free of the madness of their parents in New York and start good, new lives. But, their parents follow them there and live as homeless people to be near them.
The ending of this story, if you haven¡¯t read it¡¦ it a true piece of disbelief! I still shake my head and can¡¯t believe what these parents put their kids through knowing what I know at the end of the book. All I can say is that, IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS BOOK¡¦ READ IT IMMEDIATELY! Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. Immediately READ. You will be engrossed and unable to put this book down. You will feel so grateful for your childhood that you¡¯ll find it hard to ever complain about it again.

I bought this book more that a week ago and still have not recieved book. I will miss book club this month. oh well.
The sunglasses are great, don’t have to squint in the brightest sunshine. Product rates 5 stars.
Seller should be nailed for misleading advertisement, 0 stars, poor, should be tossed from Amazon. Was a little disappointed, I thought the item said two-pack. Ordered two of this item, only got 2 sunglasses, looked like misleading advertising to me. Two pack usually means two, may contact Amazon about deception of seller, but the amount is small enough not to worry. Have not made mind up as to pursue misleading ad.
My initial order had a slight problem so I emailed my concerns on a Saturday afternoon. Of course for a pair of $4- shades I didn’t even expect a reply.
On my Monday morning drive to work I received a phone call from a pleasant employee showing actual concern and promising to make it right.
The new package arrived on Wednesday!
These guys should start their own customer service academy and teach other companies how customers should be treated!

you get what you pay for. I mean, the fact that you pay more for the delivery than for the product should say something. they’re not as fashionable as I would have liked, but they’re alright, makes a good small gift to some relative

I only received one pair of sunglasses. I wasn’t aware that I had a choice between one and a drawstring pouch or two pairs. Anywho, glasses came fast and in mint condition. I’m very pleased with them.
